April 2023 fish report Alamanor

  Runoff has started and Lake lake is on the rise. All the feeder creeks such as Super Ditch, Bailey
Creek, Hamilton Branch, contribute to making the Lake nearly full . However the Lake is surprisingly warm and the hatches are happening as well.
Bass, trout,and kokes are being taken on all methods whether in trolling or bait fishing should catch fish.
Fly fisherman are matching the insect hatches all around the lake,but best fish are found while trolling
in the top 15 to 20 feet of that water.
Seps Dodger/ worm plus surface woolly buggers trolled or trout looking plugs for nice,  big browns, Rains and Kokes is darn good now,  shallow bite, at 1.8...
